La Sagrada Familia

La Sagrada Familia (the sacred family), is an enormous cathedral designed by the famous architect of Barcelona, Antonio Gaudi. Gaudi designed most of the major sites in the city, including Sagrada Familia, Hospital de Sant Pau, Park Guell, Casa Mila, and a few other spots that are all pretty amazing.

This is a view from down the street walking up to Sagrada Familia.

Now a little bit closer.

The 3 sides of of the cathedral are considered the birth, the death, and the resurrection of Christ. The 3rd side is still under construction. This is the first side.

Now here is the newer 2nd side. There’s a very distinct difference. I think you’ll be able to tell.
